It's surprising how much a few scratches can cost.



On May 1st at about 11AM I performed a somewhat splendid drift over a wet crest in my Lotus Elise. Unfortunately a Welsh stone wall helped with the braking effort and took chunks out of the driver's side of the car.

After receiving a quote 'in the region of' £9,000 for repair, the insurers decided upon a total loss write off.

Time for a change of vehicle then and for something completely different...
