The Lotus Elise is a high performance, high technology sports car. Most unique to
the car are an aluminium chassis that is bonded rather than typical welded steel.
In addition, composite body panel materials and other weight saving measures offer
a far more rewarding driving experience than the modest 120 bhp would suggest.
