POINT and SQUIRT - High Performance Small Cars
Circuits and Tracks in Gran Turismo 3
Race Tracks
Apricot Hill Raceway (Also Reverse)
This is a circuit that I enjoy in the more powerful cars. The full throttle
climb up from the tight U-turn is my favourite bit. The most common mistake is to
overrun the first corner and beach in the sand traps.
Trial Mountain (Also Reverse)
After genuinely disliking this circuit for ages, I now love it! The forested and
rocky canyon sections are the hard parts, with big penalties for clipping the sides.
Once you get the hand of the line, it becomes a rewarding run.
Deep Forest (Also Reverse)
This is my favourite circuit in all of GT3. The section after the two forest
tunnels up until the cliffside climb is great fun to slide around and the climb
and descent are great fun in either configuarion.
Laguna Seca
One of the circuits based upon a real raceway, Laguna Seca is a relatively easy
high speed track. The only awkward moments come from overshooting the tight corners
or fluffing the famous corkscrew.
Grand Valley Speedway (Also Reverse)
Personally, I find this a really challenging circuit, especially the mix of corners.
I wonder at times whether I will ever master the sequence of corners that lead
up to the bridge!
