Rally Circuits

Smokey Mountain (Also Reverse)

This is the simplest of the rally circuits and easy to win is once you learn to straightline the corners taking plenty of grass. In the reverse formation, you can do quite spectacular jumps as you enter the dirt section!
Swiss Alps (Also Reverse)

Superficially a simple circuit, but with one technical section near the end of the lap can cause a lot of irritation. In the reverse formation, the race takes place in low light and the forest section becomes tricky.
Special Stage Route 5 Wet (Also Reverse)

Showing off the Playstation 2 with some nice reflection effects, this track is the familiar Special Stage 5, but with a slippery surface. Short shifting and early breaking are the order of the day.
Tahiti (Also Reverse)

I really enjoy the effects on this circuit... blazing sun, dry dusty tracks and tropical island huts make for an atmospheric rally. The circuit is fairly straightforward and you can knock the cones around on the start-finish line!
Tahiti Maze (Also Reverse)

I have a 'love-hate' realtionship with Tahiti Maze. In the right car the tight hairpins are hugely satisfying as you drift around in effortless slides. In the wrong car, the rear wheels lose traction completely and the car spins with annoying regularity.
