British Columbia Photos Emerald Lake, Yoho National Park Previous Photo : Photo Index : Next Photo One of the nicest days out I have had in the Canadian Parks is one at Yoho's Emerald Lake. A trail circles the lake with several offshoots that explore the deeper backcountry. I took the Emerald Basin trail that led to a peaceful valley cirque with rocky moraine, wildflowers and hanging glaciers. This view is near the start of the trail, close to the popular teahouse.
