California Photos Flash Flood, Death Valley National Park Previous Photo : Photo Index : Next Photo It doesn't rain very often in Death Valley, but when it does, it does so with a vengance. Four inches of rain fell overnight before this photo was taken. Much of the national park was closed due to flash floods and softened sands. If you would like to use a photo, please write and ask.
